Hours and how long a job takes

The door is open on bench days. A same-day screen is a shelf job inside the cutoff. A board that needs a part is a different clock, and it does not run on Saturday.

SaturdayClosed

On the eve of a Jewish holiday the bench uses the Friday hours, 09:00–13:30, unless a note on the door says we are shut. On the holiday itself we are closed, the same as Saturday. We do not take a drop-off or a pickup on Saturday, and we do not read the bench WhatsApp as if it were a working day.

A tidy grey counter with a blank notebook, a pen, and a tray of screws.
The counter where the ticket is written. The notebook in the picture is blank on purpose. Your ticket is not.

The same-day cutoff

Same day means the same bench day, and only when the part is already on the shelf.

When the part is not on the shelf

A laptop screen, a rare phone camera, a back glass, and any board that needs a part we do not stock are ordered jobs. We diagnose, we write the price, and you approve it. Then we order. The usual wait is two to six bench days for a phone part we can get, and one to four bench days for a common laptop panel, keyboard, or port. Scarce parts take longer, and we say so before the order, not after.

We place orders on Sunday to Thursday. We do not place them on Friday afternoon, and we do not place them on Saturday. A message left after we close is read the next morning we are open. The message does not hold a part. Walking in during the hours above is allowed. You do not need an appointment to come to the door. If the bench is full, we take the device in and name a time, or we ask you to come back on a bench day. We do not invent a Saturday queue.

When the device is ready we message the number on the ticket. Please collect it during open hours. The 60-day clause on the Terms page starts from that ready notice.
