Terms of the ticket
BR-101029 October 2026Israel law · Tel Aviv–Yafo courts
These terms are the contract for a repair at Bench Repair Tel Aviv Ltd., בנץ׳ ריפייר תל אביב בע״מ, company number 514826379, 28 Abarbanel Street, Florentin, Tel Aviv–Yafo 6608228. The written ticket you approve at the counter is part of the contract. If a spoken guess and the ticket disagree, the ticket controls.
Who we are, and who we are not
We are an independent repair bench. We are not an authorized service provider for the companies that make the phones or the laptops. Words such as iPhone-class, Android mid-range, and Windows laptop describe the device so the part can be matched. They are not a claim of authorization, sponsorship, or supply from those companies. A repair here can affect a maker’s warranty that is still running. We tell you that before you approve the ticket. The warranty you receive from us is the warranty in the next sections, not the maker’s.
Price and VAT
Prices on the website are in shekels and include VAT at 18%, the rate in force when this page was written on 29 October 2026. A range is a band for that class of device. The sum you pay is the sum written on the ticket you approve, VAT included. If the statutory VAT rate changes, the ticket shows the VAT then in force. If we find a second fault, we stop and ask before we add a line. A model outside the published class is quoted before we order. We take card and cash at the counter and we issue a tax invoice (חשבונית מס) for a paid job.
Diagnosis, especially liquid
When we can see the fault without a long opening, we quote the job. When we have to open the device to know, the diagnosis fee is ₪90 for a phone and ₪140 for a laptop, credited if you approve a repair we are willing to do on that visit. Liquid — water, a drink, rain, or anything else that got inside — is a diagnosis, not a guaranteed fix. We tell you what we see, including when we think the device should not be repaired. A device that turns on after liquid can still fail later. Approving a diagnosis does not approve an open-ended repair.
Your files
We do not promise data recovery, and we do not offer it as a service. You should back up before you come if the device still turns on. A repair can succeed and the files can still be missing. We do not send storage away to a recovery service under this ticket. We do not browse personal data on the device. If a test needs an unlock, you type the passcode yourself and you do not write it down for us.
No account bypass
If the device is locked to an account — an Apple ID, a Google account, a Microsoft account, a firmware password, or any other account — you remove that lock yourself before the repair or after we hand the device back. The bench will not bypass it — not iCloud, not FRP, not IMEI. We will not take a device we believe is not yours. Refusal on that ground is not a breach of these terms.
Time, parts, and messages
A same-day aim applies only to a part already on the shelf, handed in inside the cutoff on the Times page, and only when the chassis is fit for that job. A board or any other repair that needs a part we do not stock is ordered after you approve the quote. The usual wait is the one we write on the ticket. We do not order parts on Friday afternoon or on Saturday. Walking in during posted hours is allowed.
A WhatsApp message, an email, or a missed call does not hold a part. A part is held only when the bench confirms the hold in a reply and names how long the hold lasts. Saturday is not a working day. A message sent on Saturday does not create a booking.
Warranty days
The warranty is 90 days on the part we fitted and on the labor of fitting that part. The end date is written on the ticket. It covers that part failing in ordinary use. It does not cover a new drop, a new bend, liquid after the repair, a crack, a fault in a different part, or an account lock. Battery warranty is not a promise of a cycle count beyond what the ticket states. Full wording is on the Warranty page, and it is part of these terms.
Uncollected devices after 60 days
When the device is ready we send notice to the phone number on the ticket. You should collect it during open hours. If it is still in the shop 60 days after that notice, we may send one further notice and then dispose of the device or sell it to cover an unpaid repair charge and a reasonable storage cost. Any remainder is held for you for one year from the sale, and paid to you if you claim it in that year with enough detail to match the ticket. This clause is a contract term. It does not switch off a mandatory right you have under Israeli consumer law.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv–Yafo have jurisdiction. Nothing here takes away a right a consumer has to bring a claim in another court where Israeli law says we must accept that court. If a term is held invalid, the rest of the ticket stands.
