Phone repairs

Screens, batteries, ports, cameras, and the jobs that only make sense after we look. Recent iPhone-class handsets and mid-range Android phones are the two shelves we keep full. Anything else is a quote.

A compatible display is a tested panel we fit every week on that class of phone. A service-pack display is the tighter, dearer part, when we can source it. The ticket says which one you approved. We are not an authorized service provider, and neither word means the maker sent us.

Same-day means the part is already on the shelf and you are inside the cutoff: in the door by 17:30 Sunday to Thursday, or by 11:30 on Friday. A bent frame, a second crack under the glass, or a port that has torn off the board turns a shelf job into a conversation. We stop and rewrite the ticket. We do not discover the higher price at the till.

If the handset is signed into an account, you remove that lock yourself before the repair or after we hand it back. The bench will not bypass it — not iCloud, not FRP, not IMEI. You type any passcode yourself, at the counter, and you do not leave it written down.

Liquid, and what a diagnosis is

Tell us about water, tea, rain, or a toilet, even if the phone turned on afterwards. Liquid work on this bench is a diagnosis. We open the phone, look at what the liquid reached, and tell you what we see. The fee is ₪90, credited if you approve a repair we are willing to attempt. Waking up today is not a promise about next month. If the damage is past a sensible repair, we say so and we stop. Do not charge a wet phone on the way to Abarbanel.

We do not promise the photos, the chats, or the mail. Back up before you come if the phone still turns on. A screen job that succeeds can still leave the files where they were, including gone. We do not browse what is on the phone while it is open.

What the pictures are for

The three pictures below are the kind of thing we see on the mat: cracked glass, a plain cell with the tools, and a port full of pocket dust. Your own photos, taken at home, do a different job. They show the crack before the ride, so we are not arguing later about a corner that was already missing.

Back glass is often the next bench day, not a while-you-wait job, because the glass has to come off cleanly and the paint around a camera ring is easy to scar. A rear camera is only a shelf job when we already have that module. Otherwise it waits for the part, and we tell you before we order it.

A charging port that is loose, or that only works with the cable held at an angle, is often the port itself and sits in the ₪190–340 band. If the board under the port is damaged, it leaves that band and becomes a quoted board job. We do not call a board repair a port repair to make the number look smaller.

Book the bench
