Bench Repair

28 Abarbanel Street, Florentin

Florentin bench

The phone on the bench still holds someone's photos.

We can change the glass and leave the pictures where they are. The bench will not open them, and it will not bypass iCloud, FRP, or IMEI. If a test needs the screen unlocked, you type the passcode yourself. You do not write it down.

Book the bench Phone prices

A technician seen from behind at a bench, with a powered-off phone and a few tools.
The bench, from behind the person working. The phone on the mat is off.
₪90 Phone diagnosis. Liquid is a look, not a promised fix, and the fee is credited if you approve a repair. A laptop diagnosis is ₪140.
₪390–690 A recent iPhone-class screen, compatible display, VAT inside the number. Same day when that panel is already on the shelf.
60 days How long a finished device stays after the ready notice. Then the terms allow disposal, or a sale to cover an unpaid bill and storage.
Never What we will not open. iCloud, FRP, IMEI, photos, mail, and chats. An account lock stays yours to remove.

01

Look

The first minute is with the device still closed. Water, a bend, a previous repair, and whether it is yours: say those before anything is written. A daylight photo of the crack is enough if you want the band before you cross the city. At the door we use our own eyes.

02

Quote

A range is a band for that class of device, not a surprise at the till. The figure that binds us is the one on the ticket before a screw comes out. If a second fault shows up, we stop and ask. A WhatsApp message does not hold the part, and it does not hold the price.

03

Repair

Shelf work is a screen or a battery we already have, inside the cutoff, on a straight frame. Ordered work waits until you have approved the part, the price, and the wait. We will not bypass iCloud, FRP, or IMEI. We open the device to reach the part on the ticket, and we stop there.

From the door to the hand-back

The visit, in order.

Six steps. The same order is written out on the bench page. Saturday is not one of them.

01 Walk in

Sunday to Thursday 09:30–19:00, Friday 09:00–13:30. A message is not a booking, and it does not hold a part.

02 Look

The device stays closed while we listen. Liquid is a diagnosis, not a fix we promise.

03 Write

Device, symptom, part, price with VAT, and the time. You approve it before a screw comes out.

04 Passcode

You type it yourself at the counter. It does not go on the ticket, in the chat, or on a slip in the case.

05 The part

We fit what the ticket names. We do not open photos, mail, or chats. We do not bypass iCloud, FRP, or IMEI.

06 Hand back

Card or cash, a tax invoice, and 90 days on that part. If you leave it, we message the number on the ticket. Collect on a bench day.

From the counter

Questions, answered in the open.

01

Do I have to book, or can I walk in?

Walk in during the hours on the Times page. Sunday to Thursday that is 09:30–19:00, and Friday 09:00–13:30. A WhatsApp message helps when you want to know whether the part is on the shelf before you cross town. The message does not hold the part. We hold a part only when the bench confirms it in a reply, and only until the time that reply names. Saturday we are closed, and a message sent on Saturday waits until Sunday.

02

Will you go through my photos and messages?

No. A device you leave here may hold personal data, yours and other people's. We do not browse it. We do not open chats, mail, or photo libraries to look around. If a test needs the screen unlocked, you type the passcode yourself at the counter. You can lock it again before you leave it with us. The longer note is on the Privacy page.

03

The phone is locked to an account. Can you still change the screen?

Often yes. A screen or a battery usually does not require the account to be removed. You remove an Apple ID, a Google account, or any other account yourself, with your own login, before the repair or after we hand the device back. The bench will not bypass an account lock, and it will not bypass iCloud, FRP, or IMEI. If the device is not yours, we will not take it.

04

Should I write the passcode on a note?

No. You type it yourself when a test needs it. We do not want it on the ticket, in the chat, or on a slip in the case. If we cannot finish a test without you at the counter, we wait until you are there.

05

How long does a phone screen take?

A screen that is already on the shelf is usually the same day, often under an hour for a straightforward recent handset, and longer if the frame is bent or we find a second fault. Hand it in by 17:30 Sunday to Thursday, or by 11:30 on Friday, if you want that same-day aim. A screen we have to order is not a same-day job.

06

What if the fault is on the board, not the glass?

Then it is a different ticket. We diagnose first. If the repair needs a part we do not stock, we tell you the price and the wait before we order. That wait is usually a few bench days, and sometimes longer when the part is scarce. We do not start the order on an unread message, and we do not start it on Saturday.

07

I dropped it in water. Will a clean fix it?

Water is a diagnosis, not a promised repair. Liquid leaves damage that can show up later, even if the device wakes today. We open it, look, and tell you what we see. The diagnosis fee is credited if you approve a repair we are willing to do. We also say when we think it should not be repaired. Tell us it got wet, and do not charge it on the way.

08

Can you get my photos back?

No. We do not promise data recovery, and we do not sell it as a service. Back up before you come. A successful battery or screen job is not a promise that the files are there. If the files matter more than the hardware, say that before we open anything.

09

What does the warranty cover?

Ninety days on the part we fitted and on the work of fitting that part. The end date is written on the ticket. It covers that part failing in ordinary use. It does not cover a new drop, a new splash, a crack you can see, or a fault in a different part. The Warranty page is the full version.

10

What if I forget to collect it?

We message the number on the ticket when it is ready. If the device is still here 60 days after that notice, the terms allow us to dispose of it or to sell it to cover an unpaid bill and storage. Please do not leave it. The clause is written out on the Terms page. Collection is during open hours, not on Saturday.

11

Are these prices the whole price?

Yes for the job they describe. The figures are in shekels and include VAT at 18%. The number you approve on the ticket is the number you pay for that job. If we find a second fault, we stop and ask. A model outside the class on the board is quoted before we order, not after.

12

Do you work on Saturday?

No. The bench is closed from Friday 13:30 until Sunday 09:30. We do not book a Saturday drop-off or pickup. A message sent after we close is read on the next bench morning.

13

Which neighborhoods do you actually see?

The door is on Abarbanel in Florentin. Most people walk from Florentin, Neve Sha'anan, Shapira, Kiryat Hamelacha, and the southern part of the center. People also come from Jaffa, Givatayim, and Ramat Gan when they want this bench. If you want a quote before you travel, put the neighborhood in the message. We do not run a van.

14

Are you an authorized service shop?

No. We are an independent bench. A repair here can affect whatever warranty the maker of the device still offers. We say that before you approve the ticket. The warranty you get from us is the 90 days on our part, written on the ticket. The words “iPhone-class”, “Android mid-range”, and “Windows laptop” are categories, so you can see which shelf the part comes from.
