Privacy notice
BR-100929 October 2026Privacy Protection Law 5741-1981
This notice is for customers of Bench Repair Tel Aviv Ltd., בנץ׳ ריפייר תל אביב בע״מ, company number 514826379, at 28 Abarbanel Street, Florentin, Tel Aviv–Yafo 6608228. It was written on 29 October 2026.
The law that applies
We handle personal data under the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (חוק הגנת הפרטיות, התשמ״א–1981). Amendment 13 to that law is in force from 14 August 2025. It tightened notice, security, and the rights people have to ask what a business holds about them, to correct it, and to ask for deletion where the law allows deletion. It also raised the enforcement tools of the Privacy Protection Authority. A neighborhood bench is still a bench: the duties below are the ones that match the file we actually keep.
We do not sell personal data. We do not run a marketing list. We do not buy lists. A small repair file for tickets, warranties, and tax invoices is not a data-broker business. Privacy requests come to desk@fixlogic.pro or, in person, to the counter. If a duty to appoint a privacy protection officer applies to a file of this size and this kind, that same address is the person who handles the request.
Devices may contain personal data
A phone or a laptop you hand us may contain personal data: photos, messages, mail, work files, account names, and material about other people. The bench does not browse it. We do not open photo libraries, chats, or mail to look around. We do not copy the contents of the device as part of an ordinary repair. We open a device to reach the part on the ticket.
If a test needs the device unlocked, you type the passcode yourself at the counter. We do not ask you to write the passcode on the ticket, in WhatsApp, or on a note in the case. When the test is done you can lock the device again. We do not want the code, and we do not store it.
We do not promise data recovery, and we do not offer it. Please back up before you come if the device still turns on.
What we record on purpose
The ticket file holds what the repair needs:
- Your name, if you give it, and the phone number you want us to use.
- The device class, the symptom you describe, and the neighborhood if you include it for a quote.
- The work you approved, the part, the price, the VAT, and the warranty end date.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email about that job.
- The invoice details Israeli tax rules require when you pay.
We use that file to do the repair, to tell you the device is ready, to honor the 90-day warranty, to issue the tax invoice, and to answer a privacy request. We do not use it to advertise to you later.
Accounts
If a device is locked to an Apple ID, a Google account, a Microsoft account, or any other account, you remove that lock yourself before the repair or after we hand the device back. The bench will not bypass it — not iCloud, not FRP, not IMEI. We will not take a device we believe is not yours.
How long we keep it
Invoices and the paid-repair line are kept for the period Israeli bookkeeping rules require. For a company, that generally means seven years from the end of the tax year. A WhatsApp thread about a job is cleared from the shop phone from time to time after the warranty has ended, except for what the invoice file must still show. An unpaid or uncollected device is handled under the Terms page: we message you when it is ready, and 60 days after that notice the terms allow disposal or sale to cover an unpaid bill and storage.
If you ask us to delete something during that bookkeeping period, we delete what we are not required to keep, and we keep the invoice line the tax rules require. We do not have a separate marketing profile to erase, because we do not keep one.
Who else sees a message
If you choose WhatsApp, the message is handled by WhatsApp as well as by us. Their processing sits under their terms, and it may pass through servers outside Israel. You do not have to use WhatsApp. You can walk in, call 03-564-2190 during open hours, or email the desk.
This website is static. We do not run our own analytics and we do not embed advertising. The company that serves the site may keep a short technical log of the usual kind: address, time, and the page requested. We do not add tracking pixels. The only note this site itself stores is the cookie described on the Cookie page, and it stays in your browser.
Your requests
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion within the limits above. Write to desk@fixlogic.pro or ask at the counter. We may need to confirm you are the person on the ticket, usually by the phone number on it and by you being the person who collected, or who can collect, the device. We answer within a reasonable time.
You can also complain to the Privacy Protection Authority (הרשות להגנת הפרטיות), which sits under the Ministry of Justice.
Security, and children
The ticket file is the shop computer and a paper copy in the drawer. Paper tickets are not left on the counter overnight. We do not publish ticket details. We do not knowingly make a repair contract with a child. A parent or guardian brings a minor’s device and is the person on the ticket.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. The copy on this page is the one to read.
